Why My E Ride Guy Exist
E-rides are part of everyday life now.
Kids ride them to school.
Adults use them to commute or unwind.
Many seniors rely on them to stay independent.
When something goes wrong, it is rarely convenient.
A flat tyre, a dead battery or a small fault can make an e-scooter or mobility scooter unusable.
Most people do not have the tools, time or confidence to fix it themselves.
Workshops can be hard to reach.
Advice can be confusing.
And too often, people are left waiting.
My Eride Guy exists to remove that stress.
We make e-ride repairs simple and clear.
We explain the problem in plain English.
We offer honest advice and practical solutions.
Whether we come to you or you bring it to us, our goal is the same, get you back moving with as little fuss as possible.
Fast repairs, local team, all major brands.
Why Choose My E-Ride Guy
Most e-ride repair services work like a traditional workshop.
You drop it off, wait, and hope for the best.

We offer mobile repairs when it makes sense, and in-house repairs when that is the better option.
You choose what works for you.
We explain issues in plain English, not technical jargon.
You will know what is wrong, what needs fixing, and what it will cost before any work starts.
Because we see the same problems every day, we work efficiently and keep common parts on hand.
If a repair is not worth doing, we will tell you straight.
If you are not sure what is wrong with your e-scooter, e-bike or mobility scooter, give us a call.
We are always happy to talk it through and point you in the right direction.

About The Founder
My Eride Guy was founded by Jimmy Mitchell, an electronics technician who has spent most of his working life fixing things that could not afford to fail.
Jimmy started his career in the Navy as an electronics technician.
In that environment, mistakes are not an option.
You diagnose the problem properly, you follow a process, and you get it right the first time.
After leaving the Navy, Jimmy moved into automation and agricultural technology.
This meant working on equipment in the field, often under time pressure, where breakdowns stop work and cost people money.
Those experiences shaped how My Eride Guy operates today.
We do not guess.
We do not rush jobs just to move on to the next one.
We take the time to find the real issue before touching anything.
We also believe people deserve straight answers.
Problems are explained in plain English, without technical talk or upselling.
As My Eride Guy grows, this way of working stays the same.
It is built into how our technicians are trained, how jobs are quoted, and how repairs are checked before they are signed off.
Fast repairs, local team, all major brands.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick Answers to Common Questions
Whether it is your first time getting a repair or you just want a quick answer, we have put together the questions we get asked the most.
If there is something you want to know that is not listed here, just give us a call. We are always happy to help.
Do you offer mobile repairs?
Yes. If you cannot get to us, we can come to you. Our mobile trailer is set up for most jobs, including tyres, brakes, wiring and general servicing.
If it is something we need workshop tools for, we will tell you before you book.
Need your scooter checked? Book your mobility scooter in today.
How long do repairs take?
It depends on the job. Tyres, tubes and basic brake work are usually done the same day.
Electrical faults and battery issues take a bit longer because we need to test them properly.
We always give you a clear idea of the timeframe before we start so you know what to expect.
If you are in a rush, tell us and we will do our best to fast track it for a small fee.
What brands do you work on?
Pretty much every brand on the market. Most e scooters, e bikes, mobility scooters and golf carts use similar systems, so we see the same types of faults across many makes and models.
If you have a rare or older model, just send us a photo. Nine times out of ten, we can still help.
How much will it cost?
We keep pricing simple and fair. Once we have seen the issue, we tell you the cost before we start.
We pride ourselves on having no hidden fees and no pressure.
If you want a rough estimate before coming in, you can send us a photo or a quick message, and we can point you in the right direction.
Do you keep parts in stock?
Yes. We keep the common tyres, tubes, brake pads, controllers, wiring and connectors on hand because they are the things that break the most.
It is why we can fix so many jobs on the same day.
If your ride needs something specific or unusual, we can order it and let you know the timeframe.
Can you diagnose the problem if I am not sure?
Yes, and it happens all the time. Many riders are not sure if the issue is the tyre, motor, brakes or wiring.
Tell us the symptoms, or bring the ride in, and we can usually work it out pretty quickly.
Most problems show themselves as soon as we test the scooter or bike.
Do I need to book ahead?
Walk ins are fine for small issues, but booking is the best way to make sure we can look at your ride straight away.
It also helps us keep turnaround times fast.
If you want same day repairs, booking is your safest bet.
Are your repairs guaranteed?
Yes. If something we repaired fails sooner than it should due to poor workmanship, we will sort it at no extra cost.
No drama and no back and forth. We stand by our work and want you to feel confident riding again.
Do you repair mobility scooters?
Yes, every day. We know how important these scooters are for getting around, so we treat them as a priority.
If you have trouble getting the scooter to us, we can come to you or arrange pickup and drop off.
We keep the common mobility parts in stock, which helps with fast turnaround times.
Do you offer servicing?
Yes. Regular servicing helps prevent small problems becoming big ones and keeps your ride safe.
We can set up a servicing plan based on how often you ride, or we can do one off services when you need them
Do you offer repairs for commercial fleets or businesses?
Yes. We work with a range of businesses, from delivery riders and hire companies to schools, councils and tourism operators.
Commercial rides can take a beating, so we focus on fast turnaround and reliable servicing.
We can repair single units, full batches or set up an ongoing maintenance plan to keep your fleet on the road.
If needed, we can also come to your site to reduce downtime.
Fast repairs, local team, all major brands.
